Phantom Targets changes the value of a good ARC Raiders loadout because every Wasp encounter can attract unwanted attention. Before choosing attachments, compare the available ARC Raiders BluePrints with your current stash and decide whether the event justifies spending rare materials. The best setup is not built around maximum damage alone; it must also preserve ammunition, mobility, and an escape plan.

Build for Two Threats, Not One

Wasps are most manageable at the distance where your weapon remains accurate without forcing long reloads. A controllable rifle or carbine works well in open streets, courtyards, and exterior routes, while a shotgun or compact automatic weapon gives solo players an answer when another Raider closes the gap.

This pairing matters because ARC fights create sound, muzzle flashes, and predictable movement. A player arriving late can use those signals to pressure your position. If both weapons are designed for the same range, you may defeat the Wasp and still lose the extraction fight that follows.

1) Save ammunition for the player encounter that may follow every Wasp fight.

2) Choose attachments that improve control before chasing maximum damage.

3) Carry defensive equipment when your primary weapon demands stationary aiming.

Control the Engagement Before Pulling the Trigger

Strong Wasp farming begins before the first shot. Identify hard cover, a fallback route, and a second angle where you can continue firing. Avoid standing in the center of a street or beside a single doorway, since both positions make your movement easy to predict.

Once the target takes damage, relocate instead of repeating the same peek. A short rotation behind cover can break an approaching player's line of sight and gives you time to listen for footsteps. Re-engage only after checking the surrounding lanes, rooftops, and entrances.

For indoor routes, pull the Wasp toward a room with two exits rather than fighting beside a dead end. This slightly slows the kill but gives you far more options when the area becomes contested.

Make Ammunition and Healing Part of the Build

Time-to-kill is useful, but it does not tell the entire story. Track how many rounds your weapon spends per Wasp and whether the encounter forces a reload in an exposed position. A slightly slower weapon can be more efficient when it preserves ammunition for repeated runs.

Healing supplies deserve the same attention. Do not enter a target area with enough ammunition but only one recovery item. Chip damage from ARC attacks can become decisive when a Raider pushes immediately after the fight. A practical solo loadout should leave room for at least one emergency heal after every engagement.

Know When the Event Run Is Finished

Phantom Targets rewards are most valuable when they support a wider progression plan. The Anomalia Outfit, Finger Guns Wave, Trashpile Bag, and Raider Tokens are useful goals, but none justify risking a full inventory after your required progress is complete.

Set a stopping point before deploying. For example, extract after completing the current objective, securing a high-value blueprint, or filling the remaining space with materials needed for an upgrade. This prevents one extra Wasp encounter from turning a profitable run into a costly recovery mission.

Players farming efficiently should rotate between event targets and ordinary loot routes. That approach keeps ammunition supplies stable, builds reserve materials, and reduces the pressure to force every encounter. When you need a missing component, you can also buy ARC Raiders Items to finish a planned build without delaying your next serious expedition.
